How many projects are too many? I found my limit: 25. Twenty six projects is just too many. I find myself wandering around my studio like a flea without a dog.
I do like to keep a variety going; mindless knitting and crochet projects, some that challenge me, one or two for pay is always nice. I keep some quilts to mend, some to design, some I don't know how to sell; Daughter keeps me supplied with mending, redesigning, and creating clothing for her; Always I have someone's pants to mend.
And fiber; I love fiber. I have baskets and bins of Jacob Sheep wool, mystery wool, several different Suffolk sheep, and a basket from each of my sister's Alpaca herd (Spring Oaks Alpaca Co.). I keep silk, mohair, cotton, whatever I can get my hands on! Projects are planned, but only as an excuse to "fondle fiber."
I am eager to finish reupholstering Daughter's sofa so I can return guilt-free to my multitudes of projects.
Is It Over Yet?
